Burger King Launches Two New 'The Quattro Cheese' Menu Items... Actor Lee Deokhwa Selected as Model

‘The Quattro Cheese,’ a new interpretation of the Quattro Cheese Whopper, is Burger King’s first premium burger featuring a high-quality cheese bun that is more special and intense. The cheese bun, topped with mozzarella cheese, boasts a savory and visually striking appearance. The 100% pure beef patty, grilled over an open flame to deliver a rich smoky flavor, is paired with white cheddar cheese, shredded cheese, and cheese sauce. The newly released ‘The Quattro Cheese X’ offers a more generous portion, featuring a thick steak patty with tangy and spicy jalape?os for an umami-packed experience.

To commemorate the launch of the new menu, Burger King has selected actor Lee Deok-hwa as the new model to promote The Quattro Cheese. The TV and digital advertisements released from today feature catchphrases that evoke the atmosphere of noir films and highlight Lee Deok-hwa’s distinctive dignified charm. The wordplay linking the new menu name with the actor’s name, such as ‘Deokhwa, Deokwa, The Quattro Cheese,’ is expected to attract attention once again.

A Burger King brand communications representative said, “‘The Quattro Cheese’ was carefully developed with attention to detail, from the ingredients to the blend of various cheeses, introducing the cheese bun for the first time in the brand and industry to emphasize the characteristics of a premium burger.” They added, “We expect The Quattro Cheese’s deep and rich flavor to lead the ‘cheese craze’ trend in the food and beverage industry in 2020, and starting with the appointment of the new model, we plan to showcase a variety of marketing activities.”

Meanwhile, Burger King is offering a coupon through KakaoTalk Plus Friends until March 8th that provides free French Fries (R) and Cola (R) with the purchase of either The Quattro Cheese or The Quattro Cheese X single items for 14 days. The two types of Burger King’s The Quattro Cheese and The Quattro Cheese X are available at Burger King stores nationwide except for some locations.
