[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Chef Lee Yeon-bok confessed the reason why he does not take group photos with his staff.
On the 23rd, the KBS entertainment program 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears' showed Lee Yeon-bok holding a meeting with his restaurant staff via mobile phone messenger.
The last agenda of the meeting that day was 'taking a group photo.' However, Lee Yeon-bok said he does not take group photos with his staff.
Lee Yeon-bok confessed, "When I took photos upon request, there were people who went to other restaurants and lied about their experience. Because of that, from a certain point on, we rarely take photos wearing chef uniforms or group photos at our restaurant."
He added, "I gave a ladle as a gift to a long-time apprentice. But the next day, he said he would quit. So, in a fit of anger, I took the ladle back. Whenever I give gifts, they quit," he revealed.
Nevertheless, Lee Yeon-bok said, "Since today is a special occasion, let's take a group photo," and took a group photo with his staff.
