The tournament organizers announced on the 23rd at the LCK Arena in Jongno-gu, Seoul, that announcer Kim Mina had left during the LCK Spring regular season Round 1 match between Sandbox Gaming and Damwon Gaming.
Caster Seong Seunghun stated on the broadcast, "Announcer Kim Mina had to leave early due to poor condition. It does not seem to be a serious concern, but just in case, she will visit a hospital for a check-up. Most people are wearing masks, but we are monitoring the situation."
Announcer Kim Mina conducted interviews with players after the first match, so it was necessary to check the players' conditions as well.
LoL Park reported that although Kim Mina did not have any symptoms other than a mild fever, they followed the manual procedures as a precaution. It was also reported that media personnel were requested to self-quarantine.
Kim Mina joined JTBC as a weather caster in 2015.
