Earlier, Byun Jung-soo posted promotional material on social networking services (SNS) announcing that she would sell hand sanitizers through the shopping mall she operates.

Some criticized this, saying it might be a commercial exploitation amid the nationwide spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the resulting fear.
