[Asia Economy Guest Reporter Kang Hyesoo] The Deok Team, consisting of Noh Hong-chul, Kim Min-kyung, and Yoo Min-sang, won by having the prospective newlyweds choose their property.

On the evening of the 23rd, MBC's "Save Me! Homes" aired a segment where the Deok Team and the Bok Team searched for a newlywed home for the prospective couple. The clients requested a house in Seoul’s Mapo-gu, Eunpyeong-gu, or Yeongdeungpo-gu, where commuting by car to their workplace in Seongsan-dong and the broadcasting station would be easy. They also wanted a living room and two bedrooms. Additionally, the clients hoped for a newly renovated interior.

The Bok Team, led by Park Na-rae and Kim Won-joong, first visited the "Kkaesogeum House" located near Gongdeok Station. The Kkaesogeum House, remodeled in white tones, was slightly disappointing due to inconvenient parking facilities. The rental price was a jeonse (lump-sum deposit) of 200 million KRW.

The second property was an apartment in Singil-dong. Park Na-rae mentioned that she had lived there for about five years and that almost all KBS comedians had lived there, which resonated with the panelists. This place attracted attention because it came fully equipped with appliances and furniture such as a refrigerator and washing machine. The price was a deposit of 200 million KRW, monthly rent of 300,000 KRW, and maintenance fee of 100,000 KRW.

The last stop was a villa called "Jagiya Iriwa Jajak" in Yeokchon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, which impressed the panelists with its most radical remodeling. Upon entering, the exposed concrete and epoxy finish gave a unique feel, unlike a typical home, resembling a curated shop. The price was 140 million KRW, notably below the clients’ budget of 200 million KRW. The Bok Team ultimately chose this property.

The Deok Team, consisting of Noh Hong-chul, Kim Min-kyung, and Yoo Min-sang, headed first to Mangwon-dong, currently the hottest neighborhood. The "First Night Bridal Chamber" mixed traditional Korean and Western-style houses, with the advantage of being within walking distance to the clients’ workplace and having three bedrooms. The price was a deposit of 200 million KRW and monthly rent of 300,000 KRW.

Next, they introduced the "Changchang Byeokryeok Love House" in Eungam-dong. This house was attractive because it came with various new appliances and was a first move-in. The Deok Team ultimately selected the 2020 newly built house "Morning of Newlyweds at Tiffany," which they had introduced last week.

The clients said they liked it from the start and chose "Morning of Newlyweds at Tiffany." They cited that it was a new house and especially liked the living room as their reasons for choosing it. When Park Na-rae asked which house the prospective groom liked, since the choice was up to the bride, he picked "Jagiya Iriwa Jajak," leaving a hint of regret.

The celebrity-led real estate battle "Save Me! Homes," where stars personally find homes for busy ordinary people, airs every Sunday at 10:40 PM on MBC.
