[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Innovation-oriented Small and Medium Business Association (Inno-Biz Association) and the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency are promoting the '2020 Data Voucher Support Project.' They plan to conduct a preliminary demand survey targeting companies and support data purchase and processing vouchers through demand company selection evaluations.
According to the Inno-Biz Association on the 23rd, this project supports costs so that companies can receive necessary data purchase or processing services from specialized companies according to the purpose of data utilization, such as developing new data-based services, enhancing existing services, establishing marketing strategies, and improving operational efficiency.
After receiving responses to the demand survey, the project is scheduled to start this year. The plan includes guiding business applications for demand companies, matching with supply companies, evaluating demand company selection, supporting data purchase and processing vouchers, and conducting follow-up management and evaluations.
The support scale is approximately 18 million KRW for purchase, 45 million KRW for general processing, and 70 million KRW for artificial intelligence (AI) processing.
