According to local media on the 23rd, the Singapore Ministry of Health announced the previous day that three additional COVID-19 cases had been confirmed.
Among the newly confirmed cases, a 30-year-old Singaporean woman is related to a church where COVID-19 cases have been reported so far, the Ministry of Health explained. This brings the total number of confirmed cases linked to this church to 23.
Including another church where six patients have already been confirmed, the total number of 'church-related infections' in Singapore has reached 29.
Additionally, a 32-year-old Singaporean man and a 41-year-old Singapore permanent resident man who returned from Wuhan, Hubei Province on a government special charter flight were also confirmed positive.
Meanwhile, as of local time on the 22nd, two patients were discharged, increasing the number of fully recovered COVID-19 patients to 49.
The two discharged patients are a 28-year-old woman working at a health product store catering to Chinese tourists and her six-month-old son.
