[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] On the 21st (local time), Hyundai Motor Company premiered the ‘Global Hydrogen Campaign’ video featuring BTS at Times Square in New York, USA.
The video was screened for one hour on the electronic billboard of the Marriott Marquis Hotel located in the center of Times Square on the evening of the 21st. The video, themed “The Impression Nature Gives to Life,” shows BTS members drawing blue skies, first snow, forests, and more with their own handwriting to pass on the great nature to the next generation. Additionally, the video features Hyundai’s hydrogen electric vehicle ‘Nexo,’ which emits no pollutants other than water, conveying Hyundai’s vision and efforts toward a future hydrogen society.

Sidney Cadien, who visited Times Square, said, “I liked how Hyundai Motor Company raised awareness about environmental protection in its own way,” and added, “Through this hydrogen campaign video, I was able to see the beautiful nature and Earth that I have never experienced firsthand.”
The video will be posted individually for each BTS member on Hyundai Motor’s SNS channels starting from the 26th. Also, until mid-April, an interactive online gallery event will be held where customers can upload photos they took themselves with the hashtag themed “Nature I Want to Protect” on Instagram to receive additional behind-the-scenes content.

Meanwhile, BTS appeared on the Grammy Awards red carpet on January 26th riding the Nexo, announcing their promotion from Palisade global ambassadors to Hyundai Motor’s global brand ambassadors.
