[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] Kim Taehee, who became a ghost after death, has been resurrected as a human.
In the first episode of tvN's weekend drama "Hi Bye, Mama!" aired on the afternoon of the 22nd, the story depicts Cha Yuri (played by Kim Taehee) and Jo Ganghwa (played by Lee Kyu-hyung) falling in love at first sight, getting married, but then Kim Taehee dies in a traffic accident, wanders as a ghost, and is reborn again.
In 2006, Cha Yuri and Jo Ganghwa met during the World Cup season when the Red Devils wave swept across the country and fell in love at first sight. Like any other couple, they went through a sweet and loving dating period and smoothly got married, but the joy was short-lived as Cha Yuri died in a traffic accident, and Jo Ganghwa remarried Oh Minjeong (played by Go Bo-gyeol) and started a new family.
Unable to go to the afterlife, Kim Taehee wanders the living world as a ghost, staying near her daughter. Then she realizes that her daughter Jo Seo-woo (played by Seo Woo-jin) can see her, and this fact puts Seo-woo in danger. Seo-woo, who can see ghosts, follows a little ghost and ends up trapped in the refrigerator.
Meanwhile, Yuri sees Ganghwa, Minjeong, and Seo-woo happily passing by on the street, and her eyes meet Ganghwa’s. Clearly, Ganghwa recognized Yuri, and startled by this, Yuri looks at her shoulder and sees that her eyes are not passing through her body but are accumulating. Yuri has finally been reincarnated.
"Hi Bye, Mama!", the first project Kim Taehee chose after marriage, is a 49-day real story of a ghost mom, and can be watched every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM on tvN.
