According to Gangwon Province on the 22nd, a total of five confirmed cases were reported in one day: two in Chuncheon, two in Sokcho, and one in Samcheok. All of them were found to have visited Daegu and Gyeongbuk.
Two women in their 30s residing in Chuncheon, Ms. A and Ms. B, both tested positive in the first and second rounds of testing. Ms. A traveled to Daegu on the 15th, visited a church on the 16th, and returned to Chuncheon the same day. Ms. B visited Daegu on the 13th, stopped by the church on the 16th, and returned to Chuncheon the same day.
The male confirmed case in his 20s from Samcheok was identified to have traveled to Daegu with three friends using a rental car from the 8th to the 11th. The two confirmed cases in Sokcho were confirmed to be the wife of an army officer and a soldier serving as a full-time reservist.
