[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Hyena,' which premiered on the 21st, kicked off with double-digit nationwide viewership ratings.

The broadcast depicted the tangled relationship between the unconventional lawyer Jung Geumja (Kim Hyesu) and elite lawyer Yoon Heejae (Joo Jihun).

Yoon Heejae, the ace lawyer at South Korea's largest law firm, was on a winning streak after leading the White Scandal of the Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs to victory. Meanwhile, Yoon Heejae met Kim Heeseon (Kim Hyesu) at a laundromat, and after persistent courtship, they developed a romantic relationship.

However, Yoon Heejae was shocked when he saw Jung Geumja as the opposing lawyer in the divorce lawsuit of conglomerate heir Ha Chanho. Jung Geumja was none other than Kim Heeseon. From the beginning, Jung Geumja had approached Yoon Heejae by hiding her identity, aiming for a win.

Feeling deeply betrayed, Yoon Heejae met Jung Geumja to discuss the settlement amount and warned, "Let's never see each other again. It makes my blood boil just to see your face," signaling the end of their relationship.

The broadcast recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 10.3%, according to Nielsen Korea.

Meanwhile, SBS's 'Hyena' is a drama depicting the survival story of lawyers who have law in their minds and money in their hearts, biting and clawing at each other in a hyena-like manner.
