[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced on the 21st that public officials, employees of related organizations, and residents participated in blood donation to overcome the emergency blood supply situation, practicing warm life sharing.

This blood donation event was held with the purpose of overcoming the nationwide crisis and practicing neighborly love for Sinan-gun amid the recent emergency in domestic blood supply due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

In particular, Mr. A, who lives in Sinui-myeon, suffered burns in an accident on the 14th and is hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Seoul. Since there may be a need for a blood transfusion during future treatment, Sinan-gun public officials and residents, upon hearing the story, rolled up their sleeves and offered help, warming the local community.

Additionally, to prepare for the possibility of COVID-19 infection during this event, disinfectants, masks, and other supplies were provided to ensure the event was conducted flawlessly.

Park Woo-ryang, Governor of Sinan-gun, expressed gratitude to the employees who voluntarily participated in blood donation during the difficult blood supply situation and said, “I hope this will help a little in the speedy recovery of local residents and in overcoming the national blood supply crisis.”
