BMW Korea Launches New Gasoline Lineup for New X3 and New X4

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] BMW Korea announced on the 21st that it will officially launch the new gasoline lineup of the New X3 and New X4, the New X3 xDrive20i and New X4 xDrive20i.

The BMW New X3 is a mid-size Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) with dynamic design and excellent driving performance. Since its debut in 2003, it has sold over 1.6 million units worldwide as a steady seller. The coupe-style New X4 features a sleek roofline with a sporty exterior and agile, dynamic driving performance.

The newly launched models offer the lively yet comfortable driving experience unique to gasoline engines and provide various options to suit customers' lifestyles and preferences alongside the existing diesel models. In addition to interior specifications, they come standard with premium convenience features such as the Driving Assistant Plus with semi-autonomous driving capability, sound system, and panoramic glass roof, boasting the best options in their class.

The New X3 xDrive20i is offered as a single trim in the luxury line, introduced for the first time in the X series. It completes a more luxurious exterior with chrome window moldings, chrome-plated kidney grille, luxury line exclusive door plates, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, various lifestyle-oriented convenience features such as 3-zone automatic air conditioning, panoramic glass roof, and HiFi loudspeakers are applied.

The New X4 xDrive20i offers two trims to choose from according to driver preference: xLine and M Sport X. Despite being an entry model, the New X4 xDrive20i xLine is equipped with the same convenience features as the existing model. The New X4 xDrive20i M Sport X, which gives a luxurious yet sporty impression, is the top-tier package combining xLine and the M Sport package, featuring Vernasca leather sport seats, M sport steering wheel, and a luxurious leather dashboard.

The new gasoline models are equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine delivering a maximum output of 184 horsepower and a maximum torque of 29.6 kg.m, enabling efficient driving through an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The time to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h is 8.3 seconds, and both models have a combined fuel efficiency of 9.5 km/l and CO2 emissions of 181 g/km.

The prices are 64 million KRW for the New X3 xDrive20i Luxury, 66 million KRW for the New X4 xDrive20i xLine, and 68.3 million KRW for the New X4 xDrive20i M Sport X.
