[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] Kwon Seongju, a preliminary candidate of the United Future Party, officially announced his candidacy for the 21st National Assembly election in Suyeong-gu, Busan.

On the 20th, Candidate Kwon stated, "This election is a decision between the survival of the free democratic Republic of Korea and the future of Suyeong-gu, which has been dormant without change for 30 years," adding, "I will lay the foundation so that the freedom, justice, peace, and prosperity that the older generation has built and enjoyed in Korea can be further nurtured for our children's generation."

He continued, "The 21st National Assembly election is a vote to decide whether we can shake and awaken Suyeong, which has been dormant without change for 30 years due to local politics," emphasizing, "I will strive to ensure that my hometown Suyeong is no longer sacrificed for the political survival of a specific political faction and restore Suyeong's glory and pride."

Candidate Kwon also presented the 'Gwang-an Beach Park' as his representative pledge. The 'Gwang-an Beach Park' project involves undergrounding approximately 800 meters of Gwang-an Beach Road, and except for the 200-meter section of the underground road entrance and exit, about 600 meters of space will be made available for residents to use. Additionally, he announced plans to build a parking lot next to the underground road to solve the chronic parking shortage problem in Gwangalli.

Meanwhile, when asked about his history of drunk driving, Candidate Kwon said, "I think it was absolutely wrong," adding, "I believe that I have become who I am today through those mistakes and faults. I will reflect on the mistake I made 13 years ago and seek the choice of the people."
