Nosa Development Foundation Gwangju Signs Business Agreement to Support Employment of Construction Skilled Workers


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] The Gwangju Middle-aged Job Hope Center of the Korea Labor Foundation (Director Lee Myung-sook) announced on the 20th that it has signed a business agreement with the Gwangju branch of the Construction Workers Mutual Aid Association (Branch Manager Im Jun-taek), the Korea Competency Development Institute (Chairman Kim Yoon-se), and the Gwangju Center for Construction Workers Employment Support (Center Director Seo Kyung-soon).


This agreement was prepared to provide middle-aged individuals aspiring to enter the construction industry with suitable skills training through job experience and to support reemployment activities such as operating employment clubs for graduates.


Through this agreement, the parties agreed to mutually cooperate in the systematic support of customized career transition support services, including education and counseling services for lifelong active construction workers.


They also agreed to provide convenience in using facilities and to cooperate in other necessary areas of mutual collaboration.


Lee Myung-sook, Director of the Gwangju Middle-aged Job Hope Center, said, “We will support middle-aged construction workers in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions to participate in the foundation’s career transition support, education, and employment club activities so that they can maintain lifelong activity and prepare for a healthy later life.”


Meanwhile, the Korea Labor Foundation is a public institution that supports ▲ financial support and educational projects for labor-management coexistence ▲ workplace innovation consulting and work culture improvement support ▲ support for the third act of life for the new middle-aged ▲ and international exchange cooperation in the labor field.


The Gwangju Middle-aged Job Hope Center of the Korea Labor Foundation provides free customized services for the local middle-aged population, including life career design services for those aged 40 and over, retirement support programs and re-leap programs for retiring workers and job seekers, and the new middle-aged third act of life package.
