[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Gaonsoft, a mobile solution specialist company, announced on the 20th that it has developed a mobile healthcare solution to assist with self-medication.
The newly developed solution allows users to independently manage medication dates, cycles, and dosages, and to check their condition after medication, making it optimized for self-medication. The company explained that convenience is maximized as users can perform self-medication and management by checking recommended injection sites and medication records, making it effective for people who require regular medication.
In particular, Gaonsoft has incorporated this solution into the mobile application for Remsima SC, which Celltrion Healthcare is launching in Europe. Users can set reminder conditions according to their prescribed medication plan through the mobile application and receive push notifications for medication at the set intervals and times.
If a medication date is missed, continuous warning alerts are sent to minimize missed medication times, and guidance on injection sites is provided to facilitate self-medication. The application supports multiple languages including English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German to enhance convenience for overseas users. Additionally, based on GDPR compliance for privacy protection in Europe, the solution strengthens protection of personal information and medical data including genetic data, biometric data, and data related to race and ethnicity.
Kim Cheolmin, CEO of Gaonsoft, stated, "We plan to expand social functions such as messaging and content sharing between users, and we expect it to serve as a communication channel in the future. Through the development and adoption of this solution, we believe it can be applied to various healthcare and medical industry fields." He added, "We will further enhance our capabilities and expand development based on proven technology and know-how."
Gaonsoft, which developed this solution, is a platform-centered mobile solution specialist company with development references for various mobile applications not only for Celltrion Healthcare but also for Pantos, Asiana Airlines, CJ Logistics, Lotte Delivery, and Hankook Tire.
The Remsima SC mobile application is available for download on Google Play and the App Store and will soon be launched in other countries including Korea.
Gaonsoft is a subsidiary of Gaon Media, holding a 69.57% stake.
