'2020 Changwon's Book' Guerrilla Voting

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Seongsan Library in Changwon City, Gyeongnam (Director Choi Hak-kwon) announced on the 19th that guerrilla voting was conducted in Sangnam-dong for the 15 candidate books for the ‘2020 Changwon Book’.

The selection of the 2020 Changwon Book is divided into three categories: General (Youth), Children, and Changwon Literature. In particular, the outdoor guerrilla voting to increase citizens' interest and voter turnout through preference surveys received great attention and response from citizens and students despite the cold weather.

The candidate books by category are ▲General (Youth) category: The Good Discriminator (Kim Ji-hye), The Store That Sells Time (Kim Sun-young), The Usefulness of History (Choi Tae-sung), Shame and Honor (Kim Nam-il), Paint (Lee Hee-young) ▲Children’s category: My Uncle Minu (Lee Ran-ju), Meat-o Thinking Whether It’s a Chicken or Not (Lim Go-eul), The Child Who Crossed the Wall (Kim Jeong-min), Mr. Dodo’s Proud Book Bread (Kim Hae-deung), Repetition Family (Choi Eun-young) ▲Changwon Literature category: Kkami Who Went to the Sea (Kim Moon-joo), If You Give Me Some Time, I Won’t Eat You (Do Hee-joo), Farewell Is Not Yet (Kim Dal-nim), Birds of Junamji (Bae Han-bong), The Space Where Books, People, and Life Remain (Kang Sang-do).

The 2020 Changwon Book preference survey is being conducted online and offline until the 10th of next month on the Changwon City Library Office website and at 11 public libraries under the Library Office. The Changwon City Library Office plans to select the ‘2020 Changwon Book’ after final deliberation based on these results.

Following the 19th, Seongsan Library will conduct one more guerrilla voting in front of Eun-A Apartment in Sinwol-dong on the 26th.
