Future Value Proposition Focused on 'Maximizing Value Only'
"Compliance in Orders is Basic, We Will Set the Standard for Exemplary Order Activities"
[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Daelim Industrial has thrown its hat into the ring for the re-bidding competition to become the construction company for the Hannam 3 District redevelopment project.
On the 20th, Daelim Industrial announced, "We will focus all our capabilities on the Hannam 3 District redevelopment project with 'maximizing complex value' as our core value." They are determined to provide solutions from a long-term perspective, covering everything from sales activities, bid contents, construction, to post-occupancy, aiming to win the Hannam 3 District project. Hannam 3 District is a large-scale project to build 5,816 new apartment units on a 380,000㎡ site in Bogwang-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It is the largest redevelopment project to date. The total project cost is estimated to reach 7 trillion KRW.
Daelim Industrial particularly emphasized "compliant bidding" and expressed confidence, stating, "We will focus on proposals that can maximize the future value of the complex, including product composition centered on the essential aspects of housing and providing pride as a high-end brand after occupancy."
Daelim Industrial judged that the true success or failure of the Hannam 3 District redevelopment project will be determined by the value of the complex formed after occupancy. Accordingly, they are taking a stance to boldly exclude temporary proposals that could mislead union members for the sake of immediate bidding. Daelim Industrial explained, "Instead, we will meticulously compose and propose a sincere business plan that reflects a future-oriented perspective."
Overheating or illegal activities occurring during the redevelopment and reconstruction bidding process inevitably result in harm to the union members. If the project progress is indefinitely delayed due to disputes, union members ultimately suffer economic and psychological damage. The government and Seoul city are also encouraging compliant bidding with an "intensive monitoring posture" to prevent "overheating and illegal bidding" in Hannam 3 District. Daelim Industrial stated, "We will actively respond to social demands, take the lead in 'genuine compliant bidding' to prevent further harm to union members, and focus on proposing the best products." They plan to further strengthen their self-inspection process, which has been in operation since last year's bidding, and to conduct a clean competition by thoroughly excluding slander or negative tactics against competitors.
Park Sang-shin, Head of Daelim Industrial’s Housing Business Division, said, "Based on Daelim’s founding spirit of always running toward greater future value by thinking of the forest rather than the trees, we will participate fairly in the Hannam 3 District bidding competition and set a model standard for compliant bidding," adding, "We will demonstrate Daelim’s true capabilities with a sincere bidding proposal that can provide even higher value to the union members."
