Seoul City Announces Upcoming Service Contracts in '2020 Urban Regeneration and Architecture' Sector

[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 20th that it has produced the '2020 Seoul City Urban Regeneration and Architecture Service Data Book' to provide a list and detailed information on projects scheduled for bidding this year.

The city plans to enhance the participation of competitive companies and perform high-quality services by providing advance information on upcoming service projects in the fields of urban regeneration and architecture. Service providers are expected to build trust with the Seoul Metropolitan Government by having prior information about the services, preparing materials in advance, and actively participating in the bidding process.

The data book comprehensively covers service project information to be commissioned by the Seoul Urban Regeneration Office, Urban Planning Bureau, Housing and Architecture Headquarters, Urban Space Improvement Division, Public Development Planning Division, and Regional Development Headquarters.

The data book can be directly downloaded from the Seoul Urban Regeneration Portal and the housing section bulletin board on the Seoul Metropolitan Government website. Citizens who wish to receive a printed copy can pick it up in person (limited to 300 copies) at the Regeneration Policy Division (11th floor, Seoul City Hall New Building).

Kang Maenghun, Director of the Seoul Urban Regeneration Office, said, “In the situation where the local economy is shrinking due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) this year, we published this service data book to expand bidding participation opportunities for related companies. We hope that the data book will provide information on upcoming service projects in urban regeneration and architecture fields and help the frozen economy by enabling prior preparation.”
