Two COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Iran

[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] Two confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been identified in Iran.

Kianoush Jahanpour, spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Health, announced on Twitter on the 19th (local time) that two confirmed cases were identified in the central city of Qom.

This is the first time COVID-19 infections have been reported in Iran. The nationality of the confirmed cases has not been disclosed.
