Unified Party Nominees for Gangbuk-gu Gap and Eul: Jeong Yang-seok and Yang Hong-ryeol... Kim Seon-dong Nominated for Dobong-gu Eul (Comprehensive)

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Future United Party's Public Official Recommendation Committee has confirmed Jeong Yang-seok as the sole candidate for Gangbuk-gu Gap in Seoul, and Yang Hong-ryeol as the sole candidate for Gangbuk-gu Eul. Kim Seon-dong was confirmed as the sole candidate for Dobong-gu Eul. Yoo Jeong-bok, former mayor, was given priority recommendation for Namdong-gu Gap in Incheon.


On the 19th, Kim Hyung-oh, chairman of the Public Official Recommendation Committee, announced the primary results focusing on these details at the National Assembly Members' Office Building briefing room.


For now, Gangbuk-gu Gap was confirmed with Jeong Yang-seok as the sole candidate, Gangbuk-gu Eul with Yang Hong-ryeol as the sole candidate, and Dobong-gu Eul with Kim Seon-dong as the sole candidate. Additionally, Gwangjin-gu Gap and Eunpyeong-gu Eul in Seoul were designated as strategic nomination areas, while Seodaemun-gu Eul and Mapo-gu Gap were decided as primary election areas.


Also, Gangseo-gu Eul was designated as a priority recommendation strategic nomination area, and Kim Jae-sik was confirmed as the sole candidate for Guro-gu Gap. Guro-gu Eul will have a strategic nomination with a priority recommended candidate, and Geumcheon-gu was decided as a primary election area.


In the Incheon region, Michuhol-gu Gap was designated as a priority recommendation strategic nomination area, and Yoo Jeong-bok, former mayor, was given priority recommendation for Namdong-gu Gap. Namdong-gu Eul, Bupyeong-gu Eul, and Seo-gu Gap were confirmed as primary election areas.


Chairman Kim said, "The additional application for the Seoul region closed yesterday (the 18th) morning, and since there are many areas with additional interviews, we will conduct interviews for the additional applicants and make decisions," adding, "There are some places where additional recruitment is inevitable."
