Hampyeong Fire Station, Full Effort in Promoting Installation of Residential Fire Safety Equipment

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Hampyeong Fire Station (Chief Im Donghyun) is making every effort to promote the installation of residential fire safety equipment by targeting Hampyeong County public transportation buses (10 vehicles).

According to Hampyeong Fire Station on the 19th, Hampyeong County public transportation is a rural bus company with 10 vehicles, operating from the Hampyeong County area to Gwangju Metropolitan City.

This campaign was launched to create a culture of safety in daily life by promoting fire safety policies inside buses targeting citizens using public transportation.

A magnetic plate with the phrase "Installation of residential fire safety equipment is mandatory" was attached to the rear door of the bus so that passengers' attention would be drawn every time they get off the bus.

Im Donghyun, Chief of Hampyeong Fire Station, said, "According to statistics from the Fire Agency, the highest occurrence of fires is in residential facilities," adding, "Therefore, it is necessary to install residential fire safety equipment that can quickly detect and initially suppress fires to minimize damage caused by fire incidents."
