[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 19th, Jang Je-won, a member of the Future United Party, told Lee Eon-ju, a member of the United Party, to "refrain from 'reckless behavior'."

In a post on his Facebook that day, Representative Jang said, "Have you not seen the party members from Jung and Yeongdo districts in Busan rise up and hold a press conference amid rumors of your strategic nomination?" and asked, "Can you run an election without these people?"

He continued, "It is already controversial enough that someone who served as a member of the National Assembly in Gyeonggi Province, where there is an urgent need for a seat in the metropolitan area, abandons Gyeonggi and moves down to Busan. Seeing you overstate yourself and act so arrogantly is truly regrettable."

He added, "A breeze? If the party asks you to create a breeze in your own constituency, Gwangmyeong in Gyeonggi Province, would you do so?" and said, "I hope you settle cautiously in Busan and humbly engage in the election. There is not a single prospective candidate in Busan who relies on the Lee Eon-ju breeze."

He went on, "Even if you have a constituency, it is a tough election where you have to run desperately. Even if you wander elsewhere, there are no Busan citizens who will vote for you," and asked, "Do you really not know that you are just putting on a show because you so desperately want to come to Busan?"

Representative Jang said, "I will not say more in the face of the great cause of judging the Moon Jae-in administration," and added, "Please do not forget that the minimum conditions for victory are 'fair nomination' and 'humility.' Do not engage in politics with arrogance that makes the prospective candidates who run tearfully in the region miserable."

He said, "I am grateful to and comfort those who have spared no effort for the party and the region, and even with shoulders linked, it is a difficult election," and added, "I hope you do not hurt the hearts of the prospective candidates who, without missing a single week during last year's Gwanghwamun protests, gathered many party members, went down to Busan, and devoted themselves throughout the region."
