Damyang-gun Youth Support Center Recruiting 'Kkumdeulim Youth'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 19th that the Youth Support Center, operated for teenagers, is recruiting Dream Dream youth.

The Youth Support Center provides support projects to help prepare for the future for Dream Dream youth aged 9 to 24 who have been expelled, dismissed, or dropped out, or who have not advanced to higher education.

Dream Dream youth participate in various programs such as employment packages, certification acquisition, and mentor programs, as well as preparing for the qualification exam and higher education advancement through the smart classroom operated by the center, helping them become independent.

Last year, 9 Dream Dream youth took the qualification exam, with 8 passing all subjects and 1 partially passing. Additionally, 2 found employment and 2 obtained certifications, successfully supporting their growth into healthy members of society.

Meanwhile, the Youth Support Center, together with the Youth Counseling Welfare Center, provides integrated support services such as counseling, support, protection, and school violence prevention for youth, leading efforts to promote the healthy growth and welfare of local teenagers.
