[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seong-yeol] The agency of Lim Young-woong, who is currently appearing on 'Mr. Trot,' has issued an official statement regarding the controversy over the sponsorship account.

Lim Young-woong's agency, Mulgogi Music, stated early on the 19th through the official fan cafe, "After receiving your voices mixed with concern and sincere worries, I also had a difficult day, and Young-woong himself was not at ease."

The agency added, "We are currently working with TV Chosun to find measures to respond to malicious slander posts."

They continued, "Since the competition is ongoing, please unite your strength a little so that Young-woong can focus on the contest," and apologized, saying, "We are sorry for causing concern and thank you for the trust and support you have given."

They also added, "Due to concerns about other noise, we will politely refuse all sponsorships."

Previously, Mulgogi Music had disclosed Lim Young-woong's sponsorship account on the fan cafe at the request of fans.

As this news became known, some raised opinions that it was an illegal sponsorship. As the controversy continued, it appears the agency decided not to accept sponsorships at all.
