[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] The van-hailing service 'Tada' welcomed the court's acquittal on the 19th, stating that "the court has chosen the path to the future."

In an official statement released that day, Tada emphasized, "The court has chosen the path to the future," adding, "Tada, which dreamed of innovation within the law and system, will move toward a sustainable future thanks to the court's decision."

They also urged, "Please support Tada's new journey so that it can devote all its technology and efforts to creating future standards without being bound by past criteria."

Furthermore, they stated, "We will focus entirely on expanding benefits for more mobility-impaired individuals, creating a platform ecosystem where more drivers can work happily, and fostering coexistence with more taxis."

Along with this, they expressed their position, saying, "We will become a platform that creates shared value for more people through technology and data, connecting people to people and people to society."

Meanwhile, Judge Park Sang-gu of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 18 acquitted Lee Jae-woong, CEO of Socar, and Park Jae-wook, CEO of VCNC, who were indicted on charges of violating the Passenger Transport Service Act.
