On the 18th, his agency King Kong by Starship stated, "On the afternoon of the 15th, while Lee Kwang-soo was on the move for a personal schedule, he was involved in a collision with a vehicle that ran a red light."
They added, "After undergoing a detailed examination at a nearby hospital, he was diagnosed with a fracture in his right ankle and is currently being admitted and receiving treatment."
Due to his injury, Lee Kwang-soo did not participate in the scheduled SBS TV 'Running Man' recording. SBS stated, "Lee Kwang-soo did not attend today's (18th) recording. We will monitor his health condition going forward."
Lee Kwang-soo will prioritize recovery and take a break for the time being. The agency asked for understanding regarding his inability to attend scheduled events and said, "We will monitor his progress and focus on treatment for recovery."
