[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] A man who broke a flowerpot and wielded a weapon at an employee in a restaurant was arrested by the police.


MBN reported on the 18th that the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul booked a man identified as A on charges of special assault.


According to the report, A is accused of causing a disturbance by breaking a flowerpot and wielding a weapon at an employee who protested at a restaurant in Gangbuk-gu around 6 p.m. on the 12th.


It is known that A claimed, while intoxicated, "We did not break (the flowerpot)." A was caught by the police who responded to the report and arrived at the scene.


The injured employee was fortunately not seriously hurt and is reported to have no life-threatening injuries.


During the police investigation, A reportedly stated that he "does not remember anything due to being intoxicated."


The police are investigating the detailed motive behind A's crime.
