Damyang-gun Hosts 'Tourism UCC Contest'

Applications Accepted Until October 30

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 18th that it will hold a 'Tourism UCC Contest' to discover video content that can widely promote the beauty of Damyang.

This contest, targeting videos produced on themes such as beautiful natural scenery, tourist attractions, and festivals, is open to all citizens nationwide.

Individuals or teams wishing to participate can upload their produced videos on YouTube and then apply by using the UCC contest bulletin board on the county's culture and tourism website by 6 p.m. on October 30.

Winners will be awarded prizes and certificates: Grand Prize (1 winner) 2 million KRW, Excellence Award (2 winners) 1 million KRW each, and Encouragement Award (2 winners) 500,000 KRW each.

A county official said, "We expect various works containing the beauty of Damyang in all four seasons and stories full of fun and emotion to be submitted," and added, "We hope Damyang's tourist attractions will be widely known through SNS."
