[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 18th that it is publicly recruiting members for the 16th Local Construction Technology Deliberation Committee.
This recruitment was promoted as the term of the current 15th Local Construction Technology Deliberation Committee members will expire on April 30.
The recruitment fields include 21 areas: urban planning, landscaping, transportation, railway, environment, waste management, civil engineering construction, quality and safety, civil engineering structures, roads, water resources, water supply and sewage, soil and tunnels, architectural planning, architectural construction, architectural structures, public design, mechanical equipment, electrical power, signal communication, and energy.
The number of recruits is 249 professionals residing or active in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. Eligibility includes administrative officials of grade 4 or higher, executives or researchers of construction-related organizations and research institutes, assistant professors or higher in the relevant fields at universities, those with more than 3 years of research and practical experience after obtaining a doctorate or more than 9 years after obtaining a master's degree in the relevant field, certified engineers or architects in the relevant fields, those with extensive knowledge in design economic feasibility review, and those recommended by civic groups with abundant expertise or experience related to construction technology.
The Deliberation Committee reviews matters such as design feasibility, safety of facilities, and appropriateness of construction implementation for construction projects with a total cost of 10 billion won or more. The term of office is two years starting from the appointment date on May 1.
Gwangju City plans to select technical experts evenly from related organizations, academia, civic groups, public institutions, and private companies, with priority given to female experts.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the required documents from the announcement section on the Gwangju City website from the 20th of this month to the 10th of next month, filling them out, and submitting them in person, by mail, or by email.
