Busan Jungang Library, Recruiting Students for '2020 First Half Lifelong Learning Program'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] Busan Metropolitan City Central Library will recruit students for the '2020 First Half Lifelong Learning Program' starting from the 18th, targeting infants, elementary school students, and adults.


The target audience ranges from infants to adults. For users who find it difficult to use the library during the day, night programs and adult weekend programs will be expanded and operated.


This program will recruit 380 students for 22 courses targeting infants, elementary school students, and adults.


For infants and their guardians, 50 participants will be recruited for 4 programs including 'Let's Play with Fairy Tales' and 'Science Playground.' For elementary school students, 75 participants will be recruited for 4 programs including '3D Pen Creative Science Class' and 'Reading and Writing with Pop-up Books.'


For adults, 115 participants will be recruited for 6 weekday programs such as fortune-telling psychology and traditional Korean paper crafts, 90 participants for 5 night programs such as 'Watercolor Painting' and 'Novel Writing Class,' and 50 participants for 3 weekend programs such as 'Humanities Writing' and 'Native English Conversation.'


Those who wish to participate in the programs can apply on a first-come, first-served basis through the Central Library website. Tuition is free, but participants are responsible for the cost of textbooks and materials.
