Mobile Easy Investment Service 'Fint', Winner of the 'iF Design Award' Main Prize

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] December & Company Asset Management announced on the 18th that its mobile easy investment service ‘Fint’ became the first in the robo-advisor industry to win the main prize (2020 Design Award) in the Communication Design category at the ‘iF Design Award’.

The iF Design Award is considered one of the world's top three design awards alongside the United States' ‘IDEA Award’ and Germany's ‘Red Dot Design Award’. For the 2020 iF Design Award, over 7,300 design works from 56 countries were submitted, and winners were selected through the evaluation of a jury panel consisting of 78 experts from various countries.

Fint is a robo-advisor discretionary investment service that executes investments using the asset allocation method of Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) by utilizing Isaac artificial intelligence (AI) technology developed in-house by December & Company Asset Management. Through the mobile app, it conducts financial investments tailored to customers' investment preferences and provides features that allow customers to directly adjust portfolio options.

A representative from December & Company Asset Management explained, “Unlike the US and Europe, where robo-advisor services are already widely used, the domestic market is still in the early stages of adoption. We received positive evaluations for expressing investment performance through illustrations and animations within the app and providing information via hint notifications to convey reliability and a convenient image of the service to customers.”

They added, “We are putting a lot of consideration into design and app usability to enable convenient financial investments for customers,” and “We plan to revamp the service in March to provide various content on the home screen of the Fint app.”
