According to the Nambu Fire Station on the 18th, basic fire safety equipment like fire extinguishers and standalone smoke detectors play a crucial role in the early stages of a fire.

A standalone smoke detector is a device that detects fire situations and alerts danger with an alarm, making it more effective than anything else for initial fire suppression and quick evacuation during a fire.

It is known that one fire extinguisher used at the appropriate time has a greater fire suppression effect than one fire truck dispatched immediately after a report.

An official from the Nambu Fire Station said, “Recently, property damage and casualties due to residential fires have been increasing,” and added, “We hope citizens take an interest and install basic home fire safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and standalone smoke detectors to protect their homes where they live with their beloved families.”
