Woongjin ThinkBig's children's publishing brand Woongjin Junior's 'Samgeori Tailor Shop'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Woongjin ThinkBig announced on the 18th that "Samgeori Yangbokjeom" (Three-way Tailor Shop), a children's publishing brand Woongjin Junior, was selected as the winner of the 2020 Bologna Ragazzi Award.

Samgeori Yangbokjeom contains the devotion, firm will, and courage of a family that has carried on their business for three generations. It conveys the value of work and the beauty of craftsmanship. It won in the Opera Prima (debut work) category at this year's Ragazzi Award judging, which included participants from 41 countries.

The Ragazzi Award, established in 1966, holds global prestige in the field of children's books. It is awarded to outstanding works among children's books during the International Children's Book Fair held annually in Bologna, Italy. This year's award ceremony is scheduled to take place at the "2020 Bologna International Children's Book Fair" on the 30th of next month.

A Woongjin ThinkBig official said, "With this award, we now hold our third Ragazzi Award-winning work, following Woongjin.com’s 'Patjuk Halmeom and Horangi' (Red Bean Porridge Grandma and the Tiger), the first Korean winner in 2004, and 'Dolro Jieun Jeol Seokguram' (Stone-built Temple Seokguram) in 2010."
