Providing a Distinctive Rest Experience
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Shilla Stay is settling in Samseong-dong, a cultural, business, and transportation hub known as the "Korean Times Square."
Shilla Stay, the premium business hotel brand of Hotel Shilla, announced on the 18th that it will open Shilla Stay Samseong on April 1. This will be the 12th location nationwide and the 7th in Seoul.
Shilla Stay Samseong operates from three basement levels to 21 floors above ground, featuring a total of 309 rooms, a buffet restaurant called "Cafe," a lounge bar, fitness center, business corner, and meeting rooms. The top floor, the 21st, is designed as the front desk and lobby area. Guests checking in can enjoy views of the cityscape, and the rooftop terrace on the same floor, with 24 seats, offers city views and sunsets.
The interior of the rooms is also differentiated. A new "Comfort Leisure" room is introduced, equipped with a motion bed, 65-inch TV, console game system, and soundbar, allowing guests to enjoy comfortable rest along with various entertainment options. Instead of windows, soft lighting is installed to provide a private atmosphere.
The hotel is located adjacent to the COEX Convention Center and Trade Center, just a one-minute walk from Samseong Station on Line 2 and about a 10-minute walk from Bongeunsa Station on Line 9. The City Airport Terminal is also nearby, making it easy to access all of Seoul including Gangnam, as well as Incheon and Gimpo International Airports.
Meanwhile, Shilla Stay, under the concept of "Smarter Stay," adds practicality to the value of Hotel Shilla by offering differentiated rest and convenience with reasonable prices and refined service. Since opening its Dongtan branch in 2013, it has operated a total of 11 hotels. Shilla Stay, which practically embodies the quality and service of Hotel Shilla, has established itself as a leading domestic business hotel in a short period and has achieved profits for four consecutive years since 2015.
