[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Sung-yeol] Yoon-kyung of the idol group Rocket Punch has been diagnosed with 'traumatic synovitis' and will minimize her activities going forward.

Yoon-kyung's agency, Woollim Entertainment, stated in an official statement on the 17th, "Yoon-kyung experienced knee pain while preparing for the new album and was diagnosed with 'traumatic synovitis.'

The agency added, "Following the specialist's opinion that there was no issue with her activities, we minimized Yoon-kyung's schedule to help manage her condition and ensure a successful comeback. However, after starting activities with 'BOUNCY' and monitoring the situation, we judged that it would be difficult for her to handle schedules involving choreography, including music shows."

They continued, "However, aside from her knee, there are no other health issues, and Yoon-kyung herself strongly wishes not to cause concern to fans who have waited six months for the comeback. Therefore, she will participate in schedules excluding music shows to meet fans," adding, "Accordingly, from this week's music shows, the five members excluding Yoon-kyung will perform the 'BOUNCY' stage."

They also stated, "Yoon-kyung will join and meet fans on stage as soon as she recovers her health."

Rocket Punch recently released their second mini-album, 'RED PUNCH,' and are currently promoting the title track 'BOUNCY.'
