Recruitment for Jung-gu Blog Promotion Team until 21st...Open to Jung-gu residents aged 19+, university students and workers in Jung-gu...Discover diverse content and deliver from residents' perspective via official district blog
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] When you are not satisfied with the typical restaurant information in Myeongdong, or want to know the hidden real hot places in Hipjiro, don’t hesitate to search the official Seoul Jung-gu blog’s 'Promotion Team Stories' section.
As of last year, posts such as 'Restaurants Recommended by Dongguk University Students After Trying Them Themselves,' and 'Walking Tours Recommended by Walkers Who Explored Jung-gu Alleys' have recorded 33,861 views, providing vivid guidance from the Jung-gu blog promotion team members.
The Seoul Jung-gu blog promotion team started activities last year, gathering people from various fields aged 20 to 60, including media department university students, those with public institution promotion team experience, photographers, and design artists.
They directly participated in the official blog revamp project, representing residents’ voices. Outstanding posts have been featured multiple times on portal site main pages, playing a key role as communication ambassadors who warmly share district news and stories about Jung-gu.
Seoul Jung-gu (Mayor Seo Yang-ho) is recruiting the 'Jung-gu Blog Promotion Team' again this year to actively promote district administration and communication through the blog.
The application period is until the 21st, and anyone aged 19 or older who is a Jung-gu resident, a university student or worker in Jung-gu, and interested in promoting Jung-gu can apply. Download the application form from the Jung-gu website, fill it out, and submit it to leeyuri@junggu.seoul.kr.
Selection criteria comprehensively evaluate personal blog operation status, activity fields, and willingness to participate, with priority given to outstanding bloggers such as power bloggers.
The promotion team will start activities from the appointment date until the end of December this year, fully participating in content creation for the 'Promotion Team Stories' menu on the official district blog and freely engaging in activities. They will take part in blog design and menu improvement work, while creating diverse content related to Jung-gu such as cultural and tourism experiences, discovering restaurants, and exploring administrative sites, sharing these on the district blog and personal SNS.
Each month, outstanding posts will be selected and a small manuscript fee will be paid. Invitations to various cultural events such as sightseeing tours, performances, and exhibitions, as well as opportunities for promotional professional training to develop skills, will also be provided. At the end of the year, outstanding participants will be awarded commendations.
Seo Yang-ho, Mayor of Jung-gu, said, "In an era where social media continues to evolve, we prioritize communication administration through interaction with residents," adding, "We look forward to active participation from residents who will widely share the charm and stories of change in Jung-gu."
