[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] BMW Korea will begin pre-orders for the New 2 Series Gran Coupe on the 17th.
The New 2 Series Gran Coupe is BMW's first 4-door coupe in the compact segment, featuring BMW's distinctive sporty and elegant design while maintaining practicality. In particular, with dynamic driving performance, advanced driver assistance systems, and convenience features added, it is expected to provide high satisfaction to young customers pursuing a stylish lifestyle.
In Korea, the New 220d Gran Coupe equipped with a 4-cylinder diesel engine will be introduced first, offering two trims: Advantage and Luxury, depending on design and convenience specifications. Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in March.
The New 220d is equipped with BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine, delivering a maximum output of 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 40.79 kg·m. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 7.5 seconds, and the combined fuel efficiency is 13.9 km/l. The New 220d Advantage and Luxury models feature the latest 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, providing more agile and efficient driving performance.
The price of the BMW New 2 Series Gran Coupe is 46 million KRW for the New 220d Advantage and 48.8 million KRW for the New 220d Luxury.
