[Featured Stock] Chorokbaem Surges on News of BTS Drama Production

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Chorokbaem surged to the upper limit price after news broke that it would produce a drama with BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan).

At 1:44 PM on the 17th, Chorokbaem was trading at 1,755 KRW on the KOSDAQ market, up 30% from the previous session. Chorokbaem plans to produce a drama themed around BTS's universe in collaboration with Big Hit Entertainment. BTS is scheduled to make a comeback on the 21st.

Earlier, Big Hit Entertainment officially announced the production of a drama based on BTS's universe at the '2020 First Half Big Hit Company Briefing with the Community.'

The drama will be written by screenwriter Kim Su-jin, who penned 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo' and 'Radiant.' It aims to air in the second half of this year or the first half of next year.
