[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jong-hyo] Seven former chairpersons of the Busan Nam-gu Council announced their support for Kim Seong-won, the Liberty Korea Party preliminary candidate running for the 21st general election in Busan Nam-gu Gap.
On the 17th, seven former chairpersons, including Kim Byung-tae, held a press conference at the Busan City Council briefing room and declared their support for candidate Kim.
Former Chairperson Kim said, "Nam-gu urgently needs an expert well-versed in the real economy to address pending issues and revitalize the local economy," adding, "Candidate Kim, who has accumulated extensive practical experience through a long public service career at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and recently secured a large-scale nuclear power plant export, is the right person for the job."
Candidate Kim graduated from elementary, middle, and high schools in Busan Nam-gu, entered Seoul National University Law School, passed the administrative examination, and began his public service career. He later moved from POSCO to Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, where he served as vice president in charge of plant exports.
