International Stock Markets and Gold Prices on the 17th Today

On the previous day at the New York Stock Exchange, the Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 9,731.18, up 19.21 points (0.2%) from the previous day, and the S&P 500 Index closed at 3,380.16, up 6.22 points (0.18%). Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 25.23 points (0.09%) at 29,398.08.

In European markets, the UK FTSE 100 fell 42.9 points (0.58%) to 7,409.13, while Italy's FTSE MIB, France's CAC 40, Russia's RTS, and Germany's DAX 30 all showed downward trends.

In Asian markets, the Hang Seng, Hong Kong H, Shanghai A, Shanghai Composite, Hang Seng China Enterprises (R), and Shanghai B indices are showing upward trends, whereas the Nikkei 225, Taiwan Weighted Index, Indonesia IDX Composite, and Malaysia KLCI are trending downward.

As of today, the domestic gold price per gram is set at 63,076 won for buying and 57,068 won for selling, both up 203 won and 183 won respectively from the previous day.
