Korean Air Delivers Gift Sets to 720 Employees' Children About to Enter Elementary School

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Korean Air announced on the 17th that it delivered gift sets along with congratulatory cards to 720 employees' children who are about to enter elementary school this year. Korean Air also provided gifts to employees' children entering elementary school last year.

Chairman Cho Won-tae included the message in the congratulatory card: "If you live with a bright smile and a bright heart, these will be precious times that give wings to our friends' dreams. I support you to have an exciting and wonderful school life."

The gift sets delivered together were composed of common stationery items such as crayons and colored pencils, and recipients could choose between a comprehensive pencil sharpener set or a comprehensive rhythm instrument set.

A Korean Air official stated, "We plan to carry out various events to promote harmony and communication among employees and to create a pleasant workplace atmosphere."

Meanwhile, Korean Air also holds events such as Family Day inviting employees and their children, Global Manners School, entrance exam briefings, and Hanjin Exploration Team activities. Additionally, to prevent career interruptions for women, the company encourages the free use of legal maternity protection systems such as parental leave, prenatal and postnatal leave, and family care leave.
