According to the Geumjeong Police Station in Busan on the 17th, the explosion took place around 1:38 a.m. on the 8th floor of an officetel in Bugok-dong, Geumjeong-gu, Busan.
Due to the explosion, A (29), who lived on the 8th floor of the officetel, suffered burns on both feet and knees and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The explosion's impact caused about 20 residents to evacuate, and the officetel's windows and seven vehicles parked nearby were damaged.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances.
