[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card launched the 'KB Kookmin Pengsoo Nori Check Card' featuring the popular creator 'Pengsoo' on the 17th.
This card is characterized by using Pengsoo's unique greeting pose, 'Pengha,' and various facial expressions of Pengsoo as emoticons incorporated into the card design. It will be sold for a limited time until February 16 next year, and customers can choose between the 'Peng-Card' or 'Peng-Emoticon' design.
For the first 200,000 customers who apply for the card, stickers featuring Pengsoo's cute expressions and witty quotes will be included with the physical card.
Cardholders can enjoy various discount benefits of the Nori Check Card within a monthly integrated discount limit of up to 50,000 KRW based on the previous month's usage, including ▲10% off public transportation ▲35% off CGV ▲20% off Starbucks ▲50% off Lotte World and Everland ▲5% off GS25 ▲2,500 KRW discount on communication fees.
Applications for the card can be made through the KB Kookmin Card website, mobile application, customer center, branches, and KB Kookmin Bank branches.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch of this card, KB Kookmin Card will hold a draw until the end of April for customers who spend over 880,000 KRW using the KB Kookmin Pengsoo Nori Check Card, selecting 8 winners to receive travel vouchers worth 3 million KRW, and 20 customers who spend over 100,000 KRW will be entered into a draw to win Dr. Dre headphones. Additionally, customers who spend over 10,000 KRW per transaction will be entered into a daily draw where 88 winners will receive a 'Starbucks Green Tea Latte Mobile Coupon.'
