[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] MBC announcer Lim Hyun-joo reiterated her conviction after some criticism arose following her participation in the 'No Bra Challenge.'

On the 16th, Lim posted on her Instagram starting with the words, "Who said anything just because I don't wear a bra? You can just quietly not wear one by yourself, so why talk about whether I did or didn't? Attention seeker," referring to comments she saw.

She explained, "I wanted to share my review, which I couldn't fully convey within the limited time on the broadcast where I participated in the No Bra Challenge, through writing," adding, "I obviously knew that not wearing a bra was a choice, but experiencing a whole day without one was another level, and sharing that experience through the broadcast was meaningful and a role I could fulfill as part of my profession."

She continued, "The broadcast did not conclude whether going braless was 'good or bad,'" and added, "It was simply an experiment to question whether wearing a bra is 'absolutely necessary.'"

She also shared her thoughts, saying, "What I felt through No Bra Day was that 'You don't have to wear a bra when you don't want to. But it still takes courage,'" and added, "It seems like an obvious conclusion, but fully recognizing that it can be a choice was an important change."

She expressed her conviction, saying, "A change in awareness that if it's uncomfortable, you can choose for yourself and be free. I hope it becomes an opportunity for someone who needed courage, and that the perspective on going braless will evolve into one that respects choice."
