[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] Announcer Lim Hyunju shared her thoughts on going live without a bra through social networking services (SNS).
On the 14th, Lim posted on her Instagram, "If you go beyond one layer of underwear, you can feel much freer."
She said, "Can we say that there are many people who would treat women without bras casually and naturally at present?" and added, "Before judging who is right or wrong, it is fully understandable that people feel awkward simply because it is unfamiliar. However, we have witnessed through various cases before that no-bra women have been subjected to unconditional criticism."
She continued, "I wore a dark outfit that made it impossible to tell at a glance whether I was wearing a bra or not during the live broadcast," and said, "I checked the viewer message board just in case, and there was not a single complaint. It was a refreshing experience and discovery."
She went on, "I felt that as I became freer myself, I stopped caring about others' gazes," and shared her thoughts, "So what if something is visible?"
Lim concluded her post by saying, "If there are men who leave sexually harassing comments on no-bra articles, I recommend that they try wearing a bra for a day during a hot summer day."
