[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] 'Golf Queen' Park In-bee (32, KB Financial Group) is sailing smoothly.

On the 14th (Korean time), at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia (par 73, 6,648 yards), during the second day of the 4th round of the 2020 LPGA Tour ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open (total prize money $1.3 million), she shot 4 under par to take the top spot on the leaderboard (10 under par 136). Jodi Ewart Shadoff (England) joined this group, Gillian Hollis (USA) is in 3rd place (9 under par 137), and 'KLPGA Rookie of the Year' Cho A-yeon (20, Volvik) is chasing in a tie for 4th place (8 under par 138).

Park In-bee started from a tie for 2nd place, one stroke behind, and collected four birdies. Starting at the 10th hole (par 4), she made three consecutive birdies at holes 17, 18, and 1, then added another birdie at the 3rd hole (par 4). Her precise shots were notable, missing the fairway only once and the green three times. However, it was disappointing that her putting count soared to 30 during the round. Rising to a tie for the lead by one stroke, she has a chance for her 20th career win, her first in 1 year and 11 months since winning the Founders Cup in March 2018.

Shadoff, who was the leader the previous day, reduced three strokes and maintained the highest position on the leaderboard for two consecutive days. Rookie Hollis shot 4 under par and entered the competition for the championship. Cho A-yeon, who entered as an invited player, recorded six birdies and two bogeys. This is a good opportunity to erase the disappointment of slipping to a tie for 16th place after leading through three rounds at last week's ISPS Handa Vic Open. Madelene Sagstrom (Sweden), the 'Gainbridge LPGA Champ,' is tied for 6th place (7 under par 139).

Korea's Yoo So-yeon (30, Mediheal) and Im Mi-hyang (27, Volvik) both reduced four strokes and raised their rankings to a tie for 8th place (6 under par 140). On the other hand, 'LPGA Rookie of the Year' Lee Jeong-eun 6 (24, Daebang Construction) lost one stroke and slipped to a tie for 21st place (5 under par 141). Defending champion Nelly Korda (USA) and Minjee Lee (Australia) are tied for 24th place (4 under par 142), 'ISPS Handa Vic Open Champ' Park Hee-young (33, Isu Construction) is tied for 41st place (3 under par 143), and Choi Hye-jin (21, Lotte) is tied for 68th place (even par 146).
