[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] DK Urban Development and DK Asia announced on the 13th that they will introduce landscaping and playground facilities with a mini Everland concept at 'Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio,' scheduled for sale in April near Geomam Station on the Airport Railroad.
To this end, on the 10th, DK Urban Development and DK Asia signed a business agreement with Samsung C&T Resort Division (formerly Samsung Everland), the operator of Everland and ranked first in landscaping in construction capability evaluations, to provide a 'total landscaping solution for Royal Park City Prugio.' This is the first time that a 'mini Everland'-style landscaping and playground facilities will be created within an apartment complex.
Under this agreement, popular Everland sculptures and playground facilities such as Aesop Village, Caribbean Bay’s waterfall bucket and water cannon nozzles, the Magic Tree known as the Broccoli Tree, Lost Valley of Safari Park, and Panda World will be installed within the complex.
This landscaping is possible because the building coverage ratio of this complex is lower compared to other complexes. Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio, built with a total of 4,805 households across 40 floors above ground, is a mammoth-scale complex with a horizontal axis length of 1 km. Considering the surrounding buffer green spaces and parks, the perceived building coverage ratio is only 5%, according to DK Urban Development.
The mini Everland within the complex will be created by placing playground spaces along the horizontal axis length of the complex. The connected playground spaces are expected to strongly enhance the resort atmosphere.
In Aesop Village, a magic hat slider and combination playground equipment will be installed, and in the Caribbean Bay section, a waterfall bucket that pours water from a large bucket and water cannons will be installed, along with a playground space composed of a mast and stern. Playground spaces themed on Everland’s popular areas, Lost Valley and Panda World, will also be created.
To this end, DK Urban Development and DK Asia are promoting the creation of 'Milleran Park,' which will cover the entire complex by planting nearly one million flowers and trees within the complex through the agreement with Samsung C&T Resort Division. A forest garden linked to Golmaksan, the green area behind the complex, is also planned.
Kim Jung-mo, Chairman of DK Urban Development and DK Asia, said, “Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio, a mega project where resale is possible six months after contract, will be Korea’s first resort city with ocean and river views visible at a glance,” and added, “Taking this business agreement as an opportunity, we will continue to expand business consultations to provide total landscaping solutions for the large-scale projects totaling about 45,000 households across nine projects currently being promoted by DK Urban Development.”
