The Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 9,725.96, up 87.02 points (0.9%) from the previous day at the New York Stock Exchange. The S&P 500 Index closed at 3,379.45, up 21.7 points (0.65%) from the previous day. Additionally, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 29,551.42, up 275.08 points (0.94%) from the previous day.
European stock markets showed gains, with Italy's FTSE MIB rising 172.39 points (0.7%) to 24,861.28, and Germany's DAX 30, France's CAC 40, the UK's FTSE 100, and Russia's RTS all showing upward trends.
In Asian markets, the Hang Seng, Taiwan Weighted Index, Hang Seng China Enterprises (R), Hong Kong H, Nikkei 225, Shanghai A, and Shanghai Composite indices are currently rising, while Indonesia's IDX Composite, Malaysia's KLCI, and Shanghai B indices are trending downward.
As of today, the domestic gold price per gram is set at 62,517 won for buying and 56,563 won for selling, up 287 won and 260 won respectively from the previous day.
