In September, 'Korea Vegan Fair' Held at COEX... A Gathering of Global Vegan Content

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] A platform for exchange to revitalize the domestic vegan industry and spread veganism will be held.

The Korea Vegan Fair organizing office announced on the 13th that it will hold the 'Korea Vegan Fair 2020' for three days from September 12 to 14 at COEX. This exhibition plans to provide various information and attractions not only for vegans practicing veganism but also for non-vegans who are interested in dieting and health. Along with the vegan food hall, there will be specialized halls for natural plant-based foods, superfoods, and plant-based foods.

Content that can captivate the millennial generation, who value the environment and ethics and pursue value consumption, will also be showcased. Visitors can find vegan daily necessities, vegan cosmetics, fashion accessories, as well as eco-friendly home appliances and eco-friendly vehicles. It is an opportunity to check global vegan industry trends at a glance and forecast the future.

The Korea Vegan Fair aims to be a global vegan platform. To broaden visitors' choices for purchasing vegan content and provide new information, it is actively attracting not only domestic but also overseas companies. Collaboration with overseas vegan associations and famous exhibition organizers is also being pursued. A 'Vegan World Hall' exhibiting content from around the world, including Europe, the Americas, and Asia, which are leading the global vegan industry, will be introduced.

Public interest events are also being prepared. These contents will share opinions and seek solutions on social issues such as climate change, environmental pollution, and animal welfare, which are causing serious problems to the Earth's ecosystem.

A Korea Vegan Fair official stated, "We will provide various business opportunities to vegan participating companies, most of which are startups," and added, "We will grow together as Asia's largest vegan business platform."

Discounts on participation fees for participating companies are available in two ways: early application and repeat participation benefits. Companies that apply by the early application deadline of May 15 will receive a 20% discount, and companies that participated in last year's 'Vegan Festa' held at COEX will receive a 5% discount, allowing up to a 25% benefit.

Applications can be made through the Korea Vegan Fair website, fax, or email. Visitors who pre-register by August 10 can enter at a 40% discounted price.
